The CE Marking Advantage: How to Achieve Certification for Electrical Products

Products related to health and safety come under CE making which is established by the European Union. As soon as someone achieves CE marking certification , they can sell and distribute their products freely within the European Union. Accordingly, electrical appliances sold within the European Union must have a CE mark. Let’s have a look at the electrical products that require CE marking: 1. Household Appliances 2. Cables 3. Laser equipment 4. Power Supply units 5. Electrical components Apart from this, the electrical devices used in the European Union must be certified as per the Low Voltage Directive and other applicable EU harmonized standards. It is possible to ensure compliance with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) through the compliance process.  So, the Low Voltage Directives (LVD) will ensure that electrical equipment should work within the limited voltage range to ensure safety. The ranges are: 1. For Alternating Current it ranges between 50 and 1000 V 2. F
